Cat and Sam married on a blisteringly hot day last summer. Their service was held at St. Bartholomews Church in Wilmslow, Cheshire.
I’ve worked at the church many times before over the years. It provides great angles to photograph couples saying their vows. Using a long lens you can remain very discrete whilst getting great unobtrusive pictures. Following the service it was off to Quarry Bank Mill for the wedding reception. The industrial heritage of the buildings and beautifully landscaped gardens offer endless possibilities for pictures.
Cat and Sam hosted their wedding drinks on the Mill meadow that overlooks the River Bollin, with the Mill and Quarry Bank House providing a spectacular backdrop. Quarry Bank’s formal gardens, designed originally by Hannah Greg and her gardeners over 200 years ago make for a truly unique setting for wedding photographs. The wedding breakfast was then served in one of the large function rooms of the Mill, which in the evening was then turned round to host the evening and and disco.
